MaryAnne now lives in Washington, DC where she works as a lobbyist on such issues as health care and higher education. She completed her degree in Marketing - debt-free! - thanks to her Miss California and Miss America scholarships. SHe is planning her wedding on December 7 to US Marine Corps captain Jeff Groharing, who was MaryAnne's escort to the Marine Corp Officers Ball she attended as Miss California.
