HOW TO USE THE LOCAL PAGEANT DIRECTORY:

1) In the left column, find the county in which you live, work full-time or attend school full-time.

2) In the right column, find the local pageant(s) you may be eligible for. Eligibility should be confirmed with local pageant directors.

3) Click on all potential local pageant links for more information on specific eligibility requirements and contact information.

4) Phone or e-mail the local pageant directly for more information.

5) If you live in one county but attend school or work in another, check both areas. You may be eligible to compete in more than one part of the state. Again, always confirm eligibility with the local pageant director.

TYPES OF PAGEANTS

Some pageants are classified as OPEN and others as STRUCTURED.

• Structured pageants restrict eligibility to their prescribed geographic area. An entrant may not compete in a structured local pageant if she has held two structured local titles within the state of California
.
• Open - an entrant may compete in an infinite number of open pageants, so long as she is both qualified and eligible to do so.

• An entrant may neither succeed herself nor win the same local title more than once.
