Miss California's Outstanding Teen at Los Angeles Walk to End Alzheimer's

Olivia DeFrank, Miss California's Outstanding Teen, was interviewed this morning by KNBC4 at the Los Angeles Walk to End Alzheimer's. Olivia was honored at today's Walk for her efforts and success in raising more than $10,500 for the Alzheimer's. Association. "Alzheimer's Awareness--Save the Memories" has been Olivia's social impact initiative for several years, a tribute to her grandmother's diagnosis with Alzheimer's. At the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Competition last July, Olivia earned second place in the "Teens in Action" competition. As she told her story during the public interview competition for this award, the audience was mesmerized!

Sadly, Olivia's grandmother passed away yesterday. And where was Olivia today? Walking the Walk! Olivia, you are a role model for us all, and the Miss California Organization is incredibly proud of you. Thank you for your contributions on behalf of those suffering from Alzheimer's, and please accept our deepest sympathy and condolences on your loss.

Olivia still is fundraising for Alzheimer's Awareness, and you may make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association by following this link: https://act.alz.org/site/TR/Walk2022/CA-CaliforniaSouthland?team_id=753855&pg=team&fr_id=15404
