Some Terminology Help

When you visit the Local Competitions page, you see notes like "Limited" and "Open." Here's what all that means.

A Limited Competition, more commonly known as a Closed Competition (but we didn't want you to think that entries are closed because they're not), means that entries are restricted to eligible candidates in a defined geographic area. When you open the card, you'll see exactly what the area is.

On the other hand, an Open Competition is available to any eligible candidate in the entire state.

And then, you'll see "Limited and Open." What gives? Well, just like it says, that local competition offers both. Open the card and have a look.
